Salesforce Integration
Salesforce Integration
Use the Salesforce integration when your team wants DOE accounts and stakeholders to stay connected with Salesforce Accounts and Contacts. The guide is split into short task pages so you can open only the explanation you need.
Most workspace-level actions start in Settings > Integrations > Salesforce. Record-level actions start from the DOE account or stakeholder detail page.

What Salesforce Adds
After Salesforce is connected, DOE can map accounts to Salesforce Accounts and stakeholders to Salesforce Contacts. Mapped records can support import, export, profile field sync, DOE media fields, DOE widgets, and direct links between the two systems.
The integration keeps the long-term connection by Salesforce object ID. Domain and email are used to find likely matches, but the saved mapping does not depend on those values staying unchanged forever.
Common Workflows
Start with Connect Salesforce when the workspace has no Salesforce connection. Use First-time setup to understand the guided flow that runs immediately after connection.
Use Import accounts or Import stakeholders when the record already exists in Salesforce and needs to be created in DOE. Use Export to Salesforce when the record already exists in DOE and needs to be created or linked in Salesforce.
Use Connect existing records when both records already exist and only the link is missing. Use Disconnect records when a DOE record is connected to the wrong Salesforce Account or Contact.
