Company name, logo and website

Company name, logo and website
The Context header tells people which company they are working in and gives them the public website to check. Keep it recognisable and current.

Image guide: The header shows the company logo, name and website. The pencil controls edit the name and website.
Where it sits in DOE: Our company > Context, in the page header.
Update the profile
- Confirm that you are in the right workspace.
- Choose the pencil beside the company name or website.
- Enter the public name customers recognise or the website buyers actually visit.
- Save, or cancel to keep the previous value.
- Use the logo control when the company mark needs to change.
Keep the master logo file in Your logotype. The header logo is the quick visual confirmation that you are in the right company.
Review the website when it is first added
The first time a public website is saved, DOE may offer to review it. Use this when you want a quick starting point for Context.
- Accept the offer and let DOE review the public pages it can open.
- Read the suggested facts and edit any wording that is unclear.
- Select only the facts that are true and current.
- Decide whether the review should also be saved as searchable Knowledge.
- Submit the items you want to keep.
Nothing is added until you choose and submit it. A website review is a starting point, not a replacement for checking the source. Pages that require a sign-in or cannot be reached will not be included.
If you skip the first offer, add the important pages later through Knowledge.
If something looks wrong
- If the website will not save, use the full public address and try again.
- If the logo or company name belongs to another company, switch workspace before editing.
- If the edit controls are missing, ask an Admin or Client admin to update the profile.
- If the website has changed substantially, add the important new pages to Knowledge rather than relying on the earlier review.
