Signals on a deal

Signals show recent engagement evidence for the deal. They are a feed of activity, not the Ad Preview modal and not the stakeholder table.

Image guide: Read each signal from left to right: date, person or account, role/context, action text, and available action icons. The feed helps explain whether the deal has recent engagement.

Signal actions

Signal rows can expose actions such as opening LinkedIn, copying details, opening a related link, or asking AI to analyze the signal. These actions help investigate the signal, but they are still part of the Signals panel.

Signal filters

Use the time-span filter when the user asks for recent activity. Use the type filter when the user only wants certain signal categories, such as clicks, visits, reach, awareness, or engagement. Clear filters before deciding the deal has no activity.

What Signals are for

Signals answer: what activity happened recently and who was involved? They help explain momentum before the user changes stage, probability, or next action.

What Signals are not for

Signals do not replace the stakeholder table. When the user needs to inspect the actual ad creative or CTA behind a stakeholder's engagement, go to Manage Stakeholders and open Ad Preview from the media/CTA column near the right side of the table.

Step-by-step

  1. Read the newest signal first.
  2. Confirm the person/account and action text.
  3. Use date or type filters only when the feed is too broad.
  4. Compare Signals with PIF, Deal Details, Stakeholder maps, Events, and Activities.
  5. Use Manage Stakeholders for row-level Ad Preview evidence.
