Read Connection Status
Read HubSpot connection status
Open Settings > Integrations and read the HubSpot card. Select View Details for ownership, mapping counts, field information, media sync, and recovery actions.
Choose the status you see
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Not connected | This workspace has no HubSpot connection | Select Connect |
| Connected or Active | The connection can be used | No connection action is needed |
| Setup incomplete | HubSpot is connected, but guided setup was not finished | Open View Details and resume |
| Re-auth required | HubSpot access was revoked or can no longer be renewed | Ask the connection owner to re-authenticate |
| Error | DOE found a connection or sync problem that is not only re-authentication | Open View Details, read the message, and retry the suggested action |
| Uninstalling | Background removal is still running | Wait; dismissing the dialog does not stop cleanup |
What to check in View Details
- Confirm the DOE workspace and connected HubSpot account.
- Confirm who owns the connection.
- Compare mapped account and stakeholder counts with what you expect.
- Check whether media sync is enabled or paused.
- Read the last sync result and any failed-record list.
- Use Re-run Mapping only after correcting domains, emails, or record links.
If re-authentication is required
Only the connection owner can renew an existing HubSpot connection. A different admin may be able to view the status but cannot replace the owner's connection by repeatedly selecting Connect. Ask the owner to use the reconnect action. If the owner is unavailable, contact Njord support.
If counts look too low
Mapped counts include records that have a saved HubSpot link. A lower count can mean that records are unmatched, archived, explicitly disconnected, not yet imported or exported, or waiting for manual review.
Correct the affected domain or email, then choose the appropriate action:
- Re-run Mapping for new safe matches.
- Import when the record exists only in HubSpot.
- Export when the record exists only in DOE.
- Connect to HubSpot when both records already exist.
If media values are old or empty
DOE updates are processed in the background and may take a short time to appear in HubSpot. Check that the record is mapped, media sync is enabled, and the last sync did not list that record as failed. Enabling media sync can start an early run, while the next scheduled run is shown in the details panel.
If the connection is Active but one record keeps failing, open the failure row, fix the stated record or HubSpot permission problem, and wait for or start the next supported sync.
